Alexis Damian is currently an undergraduate student at The University of Illinois Chicago. Alexis was born and raised in the South Lawndale Little Village community area of Chicago. Mr. Damian aspires to being a social worker and enhancing his future endeavors in understanding the business aspect of not-for-profit development. Since he was 8yrs old, he has been a participant in an array of community-based programming. Mr. Damian has experienced a multitude of programming including youth development, outreach/mentorship services, mental health support, and criminal justice programming. His passion is in enhancing authentic support, examining how providers can be held accountable, and uplifting the voices of those that are/have been involved in street organizations.
